One of the most versatile lighting elements available today. Very energy efficient, around 12 watts per meter.

This one is 1.5 meters in diameter.
This device measures total light output, CCT, color corrected temperature and the composition of the visible spectrum.
These can be either fixed monocolor or full color changing DMX-512 style. They can even be used as low resolution video displays.
The Star aluminum base acts as a transitional heatsink to another heat sinking member. This particular configuration produces 540 lumens @ 700 ma, 3.3 VDC per junction.
Driven at 350 ma, still very bright.

This unit is fully RGB capable with three 1 watt junctions
These are Epistar SMD (Surface Mount Devices) with a 120 degree beamspread. This is one of the most versatile light sources available.
This strip is cuttable at every third LED to enable field installation adjustibility by soldering in some jumpers across the pads.

Clear PVC encapsultion makes it water proof and it can be made to IP 68 standard, 3 meter submersible.
The total lentgth after cutting is about 48 mm with three chips.
Shown wth a 48 watt power supply that can drive four of these strips, in series or in parallel. Each rigid aluminum extruded strip is 600 mm (24") long and contains 57- Epistar 5050 SMD LED chips.
Produces 480 Lumens. Great for outdoor patio applications. The light output contains no UV so it will not attract mosquitoes and some other flying pests.
Very tight spacing of the LED's
Very even 120 degree beamspread that is almost completely uniform.
Multi-color chasing is possible with this SMD strip. Each chip has it's own address decoder built in. The only such unit in the world and is patented. You can make full video screens with these strips (in 3D if you like) and very little other hardware.
